Detectives investigating the murder of dissident republican Tommy Crossan have arrested a 53-year-old man in west Belfast.
Crossan (43) - a former senior figure in the Continuity IRA - was shot several times in the body in the Good Friday gun attack in the Springfield Road area on April 18 2014.
The father-of-six was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detective Inspector Darren McCartney said: "The suspect was arrested in West Belfast this morning and is being taken to Antrim Serious Crime Suite for questioning."
