Man (61) arrested over Edward Gibson west Belfast alleyway murder
A 61-year-old man has been arrested by detectives investigating the murder of Edward Gibson in west Belfast last October.
The 28-year-old father-of-one died after being shot in an incident on Friday October 24, 2014.
Mr Gibson was shot in the stomach and thigh at Clonfaddan Crescent, in the Divis area of the city. He was taken to hospital but died later.
The suspect was arrested in the west Belfast on Thursday and is being questioned at a police station in Belfast.
A number of people have already been charged as part of the overall investigation.
