Man accused of voyeurism is bailed
A man charged with a six-month campaign of voyeurism has appeared in court.
Stanley Strange is accused of observing a woman carrying out private acts without her consent for the purpose of sexual gratification.
The 57-year-old defendant, of Richmond Gardens in Newtownabbey, Co Antrim, allegedly committed the offence between September 2012 and March 2013.
Appearing before Belfast Magistrates Court dressed in a dark suit and grey tie, Strange spoke only to confirm he understood the charge.
No details were given to the court on how the alleged voyeurism took place.
A decision has still to be made on whether the case should remain in the Magistrates Court or be sent to the Crown Court.
Strange was released on continuing bail to return to court in four weeks' time.
