Man armed with a screwdriver steals cash from Lisburn shop

A man armed with a screwdriver has stolen a cash during a robbery at a shop in Lisburn.

At around 4pm on Saturday a man armed with a screwdriver and wearing a scarf around his face threatened a female member of staff.

He then stole a cash register before making off.

The robber got into a Renault Laguna car, registration number HT04 NAU - which was stolen in a creeper burglary in the Cloona Park area of Dunmurry on Wednesday.

There was also a second man in the car.

No one was injured but the staff member was left shaken.

Police have appealed for information.
