Man arrested after north Belfast takeaway robbery

A 25-year-old man has been arrested following a robbery at a fast food restaurant in north Belfast on Saturday.

Shortly before 7.10pm a man, believed to be armed with a knife or a hammer, entered a fast food restaurant in the Antrim Road area and demanded money.

The robber made off with a sum of cash.

A short time later the 25-year-old man was arrested and is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
