Man arrested during probe into £60,000 of cocaine

A 29-year-old man has been arrested by police investigating a £60,000 cocaine haul last year.

He was detained after detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland's reactive and organised crime branch searched a house in Londonderry on Thursday morning.

Detective Inspector Tom McClure said : "The man has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply a class A drug and other drugs supply offences and is currently in custody helping police with enquiries."

Last November police seized cocaine worth an estimated £60,000 at Nutts Corner.
