Police have released a man detained in connection with the murder of an RUC constable shot dead in a Belfast bar.
The man in his 40s was arrested on Wednesday morning.
He has been released pending a report to the PPS.
Constable Darren Bradshaw was shot dead in the Parliament Bar in Belfast's Dunbar Street on Friday May 9 1997.
It was reported at the time that two men entered the premises and while one stayed in the lobby, the other entered the bar and shot Constable Bradshaw three times. The men escaped in a red Toyota car. Constable Bradshaw died at the scene.
Detective Inspector Debbie Eakin confirmed Mr Bradshaw’s family had been made aware of the arrest.
