Man arrested in Fermanagh in paramilitary taskforce probe
A man has been arrested in Rosslea in connection with paramilitary activity.
Officers from the Paramilitary Crime Taskforce conducted a number of searches in the County Fermanagh village on Monday 18, seizing a large quantity of excise goods and arresting a 49-year-old man.
He was interviewed and bailed with investigations continuing.
During a follow up house search in west Belfast around £4,000 in cash, documents and computers were seized.
Steve Tracey, Assistant Director, Fraud Investigation Service, HMRC, said: "Working together in partnership with other enforcement colleagues we can target the criminal gangs who are stealing from the taxpayer, robbing public services and undermining legitimate, honest traders."
