Man arrested over 2002 murder of loyalist paramilitary Stephen Warnock released
A man arrested on Tuesday by police investigating the 2002 murder of LVF man Stephen Warnock has been released unconditionally.
The 40-year-old had been arrested in Belfast on Tuesday morning by officers in the PSNI's Legacy Investigations Branch.
Mr Warnock (35) was said to be a drug dealer and was shot in Newtownards in his BMW car in front of his three-year-old daughter. Around £40,000 in cash was recovered from the car at the time.
His killing was part of a loyalist feud which ultimately led to UDA boss Johnny Adair being forced out of the country.
