Man arrested over attempted murder in Craigavon after knife and hammer attack
Police in Craigavon have arrested a man for attempted murder.
At 11.53pm on Wednesday May 4 police received a report of a stabbing in Abercorn Park.
Officers attended within one minute and found a 34-year-old man who had been attacked with a knife and hammer. The man sustained injuries to his head and shoulder.
A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon and is currently assisting police with their enquiries
