Man arrested over attempted murder of police in Derry bomb trap
A man has been arrested over the attempted murder of police in 2014.
The 38-year-old was arrested in Londonderry on Wednesday. He was questioned on suspicion of possession of explosives with intent to endanger life.
He man was later released and a report will be forwarded to the Public Prosecution Service.
Police were lured to a report of a burglary in Ballyarnett Village in Derry in October 2014. Police said a pressure plate type explosive device was used which is designed to go off when a vehicle drives over it.
