Detectives have arrested a 49-year-old man in connection with a pipe bomb discovered in Dunmurry last month.

The viable device was found in an alleyway in Old Colin on 24 June.

A suspect was arrested on Sunday morning in the west Belfast area by detectives from the PSNI’s Terrorism Investigation Unit.

He remains in custody.
