A man has been charged with 14 driving offences following a police chase in west Belfast.

The 40-year-old is facing charges including dangerous driving and using a motor vehicle without insurance.

He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on the morning of Wednesday December 17.

Police were in pursuit of the vehicle after it failed to stop at Lanark Way in west Belfast on Tuesday December 16.

The driver and passenger were then arrested.

His age was originally given as 37.

As is normal procedure, all charges are reviewed by the PPS.
