Man charged after van crashes through house in Waringstown

A 27-year-old man has been charged with a number of driving offences after a van crashed into a house in Waringstown.

The man has been charged with a number of offences including dangerous driving, driving with excess alcohol in breath and failing to remain where accident occurred causing damage.

A 73-year-old woman escaped serious injury after the van ploughed through the wall of her home.

The man is due to appear at Armagh Magistrates Court on Tuesday February 20.

As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
