Man charged after woman stabbed in Co Antrim home
A man has been charged by police after a woman was stabbed in her Co Antrim home.
The man has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence.
He is due to appear at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday July 8.
The stabbing occurred in the Shandon Park area of Ballymoney around 1am on Saturday morning.
Detective Inspector Peter McKenna said that the woman's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
