Man charged in connection with £1m cannabis drug bust in Co Antrim
A man has been charged with a number of offences in connection with the seizure of £1m worth of suspected cannabis in Co Antrim..
The 36-year-old man was arrested by detectives from the PSNI's Organised Crime Branch on Wednesday and has been charged with a number of offences including fraudulently importing a class B controlled drug; illegal entry to the United Kingdom; and possession of a Class B controlled drug with intent to supply.
He will appear before Ballymena Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
All charges will be reviewed by the PPS, as is normal procedure.
