Police have charged a man after a petrol bomb was thrown at a Ballymena house.

It happened in Lewis Park in on Sunday, June 16.

The 31-year-old man has been charged with criminal damage, attempted arson endangering life, possessing a petrol bomb in suspicious circumstances and a number of motoring offences.

He was arrested in Antrim on Monday and charged to appear in Antrim Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
