Man charged over police bomb attack

A man will appear in court charged with a dissident republican bomb attack on a police station in Londonderry.

The 22-year-old, from the Londonderry area, will appear at Dungannon Magistrates' Court to face charges including causing an explosion, hijacking and false imprisonment following the incident at Strand Road barracks in August.

He is also charged with possessing a firearm with intent and membership of a dissident republican group.
