Man charged with 2001 stab murder
Detectives have charged a man with murdering a teenager in Northern Ireland a decade ago.
Trainee maintenance officer Damien Duffy, 18, was beaten and stabbed during a confrontation between two groups of people on the Stewartstown Road in west Belfast in May 2001. He died a fortnight later in hospital in London.
Detectives have charged a man aged 33 with murder following a positive response to recent media appeals. He is due to appear at Lisburn Magistrates' Court.
A man aged 37 has been released pending a report to the Public Prosecution Service.
