Man charged with attempted murder over Fermanagh assaults

A man has been charged with attempted murder following assaults in Fermanagh over the weekend.

Three men aged 29, 22 and 22 were stabbed needing hospital treatment in an attack in Lisnaskea  in the early hours of Saturday.

None of their injuries are believed to be life threatening.

On Monday a 26-year-old man will appear in court charged with two counts of attempted murder, aggravated burglary and grievous bodily harm with intent.

As is normal procedure, all charges are reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
