Man charged with kidnap
Three people from north Belfast and Newtownabbey area have been fined for drinking alcohol in a public place.
Gary Lutton, of Sharonmoore Green in Newtownabbey was fined £40 and ordered to pay costs of £66 after he was detected drinking alcohol at Victoria Street in Belfast on July 31, 2010.
Mr Lutton was also fined a further £40 for a separate on-street drinking offence which occurred at Custom House Square on September 10, 2010.
Curtis McMeekin, from Alliance Road in north Belfast, was fined £50 and ordered to pay costs of £66 after he was detected drinking alcohol at Crumlin Road on September 30, 2010.
Paul McQuillan, from Antrim Road, Belfast was fined £50 and ordered to pay costs of £66 after he was detected drinking alcohol at Antrim Road on September 17, 2010.
All the prosecutions were brought by Belfast City Council.
