A man arrested by the PSNI's Paramilitary Crime Taskforce has been charged with membership of a proscribed organisation.

The 32-year-old was arrested during an investigation into the activities of the UDA in west Belfast.

Besides membership of a proscribed organisation, the individual has also been charged for the offence of being concerned in the supply of Class A and Class B drugs.

These charges have been reported to the PPS.

He is due before Laganside Magistrates Court on Thursday morning.
