Police in Bangor have charged a man with a number of offences connected to a reported kidnapping of a 20-year-old man in the Newtownards area on Wednesday.
The 23-year-old has been charged with kidnapping, possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, common assault, possession of a class B controlled drug with intent to supply, and possession of a class A controlled drug with intent to supply.
He will appear before Newtownards Magistrates Court on Monday.
All charges are set to be reviewed by the PPS.
Two other men, aged 25 and 32, were arrested on suspicion of a number of other offences but have been released on bail pending further police enquiries.
