Man charged with supplying drugs after investigation into west Belfast UDA

A man arrested in connection with an investigation into the activities of the west Belfast UDA has been charged with supplying drugs.

Detectives from the PSNI'S Paramilitary Crime Task Force (PCTF) have charged a 32-year-old man with being concerned in the supply of class A and B drugs. 

He was arrested in the Bangor area on December 12 2018 in relation to a PCTF investigation into the criminal activities of the west Belfast UDA.

The man is due to appear at Newtownards Magistrates Court on Friday July 5.

As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.

He has also been reported to the PPS for offering to supply a Class A and Class B drug, possession of a Class A drug and possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply.
