Man denies attack on disabled child
A solicitor has told a District Judge that his client “absolutely abhorred any suggestions” that he had tried to suffocate a disabled child.
John Gorman (46) denies assaulting his partner's six-year-old daughter on February 19 and 25.
He also denies assaulting his now former partner in their home, also on February 25.
Gorman, from Canterbury Park in the Waterside area of Derry, was released on his own bail of £500 and the case was adjourned until March 8.
