
A 63-year-old man has died after a fire at a flat in south Belfast.
The blaze took hold at a property in the University Street area on Sunday night.
At around 7.20pm fire service and ambulance crews were called to the scene of the fire at a top floor flat.
One of the victim's neighbours captured the moment the emergency services arrived on scene.
One man was taken from the building but pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the fire has not yet been established.
A section of University Street had been closed for a number of hours.
Police are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the blaze or who has any information to contact them.
