Man dies suddenly during incident in west Belfast

A man has died suddenly following an incident in west Belfast.

On Thursday evening police responded to a report of the sudden death of a man in the Stewartstown Road area.

Police were called to the scene a short time before 7pm.

The body was recovered from a building site for a new Glider bus stop at the Colin Connect Terminus.

A post-mortem is due to be carried out, but the death is not being treated as suspicious.

It is believed the body may have belonged to a workman at the site.

A PSNI spokesman said there were not further details at this stage.
