Man extradited from Republic to face attempted murder charge
A man has been extradited from the Republic to face a number of offences including attempted murder.
The 27-year-old was arrested on Monday, December 11 in the Republic of Ireland on foot of four European Arrest Warrants sought by the PSNI.
He has been returned to Northern Ireland to stand trial for attempted murder, grievous bodily harm, theft and other road traffic offences. He appeared at Newry Magistrates Court on Thursday afternoon and was remanded in custody.
The charges relate to incidents in the Lisnaskea, Irvinestown and Omagh areas in 2015 and 2016.
