A man has been remanded into custody accused of having a grenade.
David Matthew Gray faces a charge of possessing explosives in suspicious circumstances following a weekend incident at flats in Ballyclare.
The 51-year-old, of Main Street in the town, was arrested along with a second man on Saturday.
Police were called to the area amid reports of an incident between neighbours.
Gray is alleged to have been in possession of a flash-type grenade, according to the charge.
The Co Antrim man appeared before Belfast Magistrates Court on Monday, the Courts Service confirmed.
Gray was remanded in custody to appear again next week when a bail application is expected to be mounted.
Meanwhile, the 42-year-old man arrested with him on Saturday has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
