Man faces trial for child abuse
A 50-year-old man has appeared before Londonderry Magistrates Court charged with indecently assaulting a boy more than 30 years ago.
John Curry, whose address was given as Duncan's Road in Lisburn, Co Antrim, is charged with six counts of indecently assaulting a male under the age of 17 between 1979 and 1982.
A defence solicitor accepted his client had a prima facie case to answer and Curry was returned for Crown Court trial and released on £750 bail on condition he does not to contact any prosecution witnesses.
