Man freed after Conor McKee murder quiz

A 42-year-old man being questioned about the murder of Conor McKee in January has been released without charge.

The suspect was detained in north Belfast on Thursday and held at a police station in the city for a number of hours.

A spokeswoman for the Police Service of Northern Ireland confirmed he was released late on Thursday night.

Mr McKee, a 31-year-old father of two, was found shot dead at his home in Glenpark Street on January 7.

He had been hit a number of times and his body was discovered in an upstairs bedroom by his mother.

He was on bail for drugs offences at the time of his murder.
