Man held after stabbing at hotel

A man has been stabbed at a hotel in Glengormley.

The man, aged in his 30s, sustained a number of injuries in the incident at the Chimney Corner Hotel at around 3.20am.

A man aged in his 20s was arrested by police officers who attended the scene.

PSNI detective sergeant John McKendry said: "The injured man is currently in hospital being treated for what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

"The suspect remains in custody helping with enquiries."

Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
