Man held in Raymond Johnston Belfast murder probe

A man has been arrested by detectives investigating the murder of Raymond Johnston in west Belfast.

Mr Johnston was shot dead in a house at Glenbawn Avenue in Poleglass on February 13.

He was shot in the chest in front of his partner and her 11-year-old daughter.

Officers yesterday arrested a 37-year-old male under the Terrorism Act.

Police also searched properties in west Belfast and Lisburn earlier yesterday.

A number of items were seized for examination in relation to the murder.

Last month four men were questioned about the killing.
