By Staff Reporter

A spate of burglaries in west Belfast has sparked a police manhunt.

Houses in Kenard Avenue, Tullymore Gardens and Cavanmore Gardens were targeted in the early on Thursday morning.

A suspect seen at Cavanmore Gardens was described as being around 30 years old, around 6ft 1in tall, of large build with short dark hair and beard.

At the time of the incidents, he was wearing checked shorts, white trainers and a navy coloured zip-up top with a white T-shirt underneath, police said.

Detective Sergeant Wilson continued: "I would ask anyone with any information to contact detectives at Musgrave Street police station on 101."
