Man in hospital after attack in north Belfast
Police are investigating a report of an assault in north Belfast which left a man needing hospital treatment.
The assault happened in the Queen Victoria Gardens area at around 3.40 pm on Tuesday, July 16.
Detective Sergeant Duffield said: “A 31-year-old male had been attacked in a property in the area. He was taken to hospital for treatment for his injuries that are not believed to be life threatening."
“We are appealing for anyone with information who may have witnessed anything in the area to contact detectives at Musgrave station on 101 quoting reference number 1274 of 16/07/19.
"Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.
