Man is shot in his arm and both legs in Ballymoney

Police are investigating after a paramilitary-style shooting at a house in Ballymoney last night.

It was the third serious attack in the area recently.

The shooting happened at around 9.45pm on the Finvoy Road. The man, in his 40s, was shot in both legs and an arm and is being treated in hospital.

His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

It follows the shooting of a man in nearby Bushmills on St Patrick’s Day.

The victim, who is in his 30s, was shot a number of times in both legs as he sat in his car.

It happened on the Dunluce Road at around 12.30am.

On Sunday in Ballymoney a 45-year-old man was attacked by four masked men wielding baseball bats.
