Man left for dead after suspected hit-and-run in Portadown 'stable' in hospital

A man left for dead at the side of a Northern Ireland road after an apparent hit and run is in a stable condition in hospital.

The man aged in his 30s was found by two members of the public close to a grass verge on the Loughgall Road in Portadown on Saturday at around 11.20pm.

Police believe he may have been hit by a car.

He was taken to hospital where he remains in hospital in a stable condition.

Police have asked anyone with information to contact investigators on 101.
