Man left with broken nose in Strabane gang attack

A man has been left with a broken nose and bruising to his body after an attack in Strabane.

A 58-year-old man was set upon by a number of men in Carlton Drive between 1pm and 4.30pm on Wednesday.

Police said the victim's injuries were not life threatening.

A 59-year-old man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and has since been released on bail, pending further enquiries.

Police are appealing for information.
