Man left with punctured lung after Ballymena stabbing on Twelfth

A man in his 20s is recovering from stab wounds and a punctured lung after being stabbed in Ballymena, Co Antrim.

Police are appealing for information following the stabbing in the Ballykeel area of the town in the early hours of Thursday July 12.

It was reported that at approximately 2:30am a man in his 20s was stabbed and then treated for a punctured lung alongside a stab wound to his back. His injuries are not life-threatening.
