A car has crashed into the front window of a restaurant in Co Tyrone.

At around 11.25pm on Wednesday the vehicle crashed into the Pizzarack restaurant on Loughview Road near Coalisland, causing extensive damage to the building as a result.

A 37-year-old man was arrested a short time later but has now been released on police bail pending further enquiriries.

A post on Pizzarack's Facebook page said no staff members or customers were in the shop at the time of the incident and that the restaurant will be closed for a few weeks.
