Man stabbed by gang in Belfast attack - teen arrested

A man has been stabbed after he was confronted by a gang in Belfast.

It happened in the Ravensdale Street area of Belfast on Saturday, 3 February at around 7pm.

The man and a friend were walking in the area when they were confronted by at least five men. One of he men then stabbed him in the abdomen. His friend was unharmed in the incident.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening.

An 18-year-old was later arrested and released on police bail pending further investigation.
