Man stabbed in the shoulder in west Belfast

A man has been hospitalised after being stabbed in Belfast.

It happened in the Whiterock Crescent area of the city on Wednesday evening, December 12.

It was reported a man had been stabbed in the shoulder after an altercation on the street. He was taken to hospital for treatment for his injuries.

A 22-year-old man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. He was later released on police bail pending further investigation.
