Man suffers 'broken arm and leg' after pair attacked by gang in Co Antrim
A man has suffered a suspected broken arm and leg during an assault by a gang in Newtownabbey.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses following the attack in the Braiden Glen area on Monday June 1.
Shortly before 10.30pm it was reported that two men, aged in their 20s, were assaulted by a number of males.
One man sustained a suspected broken arm and broken leg and one man sustained a cut to his nose and swelling to his temple.
Detective Sergeant John McKendry is appealing for anyone who witnessed the assault or anyone with any information that will assist with the investigation to contact Detectives at Newtownabbey Police Station on the non-emergency number 101.
Information can also be passed anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
