A man's body has been discovered at a quarry in Omagh.

An ambulance was summoned to the Eskragh Road location at 9.45pm on Thursday. A rapid response paramedic also attended, but was unable to render any assistance, as the man was already dead.

Police are not treating the man's death as suspicious.

In a statement, the PSNI said: "Police can confirm their attendance at the sudden death of a man in the Eskragh Road area of Omagh on the evening of Thursday, March 5.

"At this time the death is not being treated as suspicious."
