Man's body recovered from River Foyle
The body of a man has been recovered from the River Foyle in Londonderry.
Foyle Search and Rescue (FSR) were called to the river at 6.40am on Sunday morning after reports that a person had been observed in the water.
A spokesperson for FSR said: "Our Emergency Response Teams (ERT) responded with mobile & boat crews. On arrival at the area reported, ERT had the sad task of recovering the body of a male from the River.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police, along with Foyle Search & Rescue, recovered the body of a man from the River Foyle yesterday (Sunday 16th June).
"A post mortem will take place to establish the cause of death, however, this death is not being treated as suspicious.
"There are no further details."
