Three people - a woman aged 24, a man of 21, and a 17-year-old male - arrested in connection with the brutal Christmas Eve murder of Matthew Goddard in east Belfast, have all been released unconditionally, say the PSNI.

A 12-year-old boy, who was on police bail pending further inquiries, has also been released unconditionally, the PSNI spokesman added.

Mathew Goddard (41) was found dead in his house in Chobham Street at about 9.40pm on Wednesday. The PSNI said he was killed in an attack at his home, and that he had been beaten with an electric guitar.
