Meade makes for lightbulb moments

Newtownabbey Borough Council is to host an evening with renowned motivational speaker and TV personality David Meade next week.

This 'Masterclass' is designed to help people learn "simple and effective techniques that can dramatically change the way their organisation and the people in it think, act and perform".

The Council's Community Development Assistant, Connor O'Dornan commented: "Each year the Men's and Women's Programme run a series of initiatives designed to address current issues which affect local people. This particular event is aimed primarily at locally based businesses and community and voluntary groups by way of supporting them and helping them tap into their potential and help others achieve theirs.

"David is one of Europe's most dynamic and sought after keynote speakers with a client list that features some of the world's most successful organisations, so his wealth of knowledge and expertise will prove extremely worthwhile.

"He is also a natural showman making all of his events hugely entertaining, so it is definitely an evening not be missed!"

An Evening with David Meade takes place on Wednesday, September 18, at 7.30pm in Theatre at The Mill. The event is funded through Newtownabbey Borough Council's Community Development Department and tickets cost £3.50 each from the Box Office on 9034 0202 or
