Meet the unwanted and unsold post Christmas puppies

Can you give the puppies a forever home?

These seven-week-old cocker spaniel and border colllie puppies were among the first unsold and unwanted pups just days after Christmas .

They were handed into the Mid Ulster Rehoming Centre for Dogs.

The Cookstown rehoming centre will now look after them until it finds forever homes for the little pups.

A spokeswoman for the centre told the Belfast Telegraph: "The man brought them and said they had bred them and that he couldn't get rid of them.

"He said he had tried his neighbours and stuff, but it's too early to tell exactly what the circumstances were."

The rehoming centre said that usually it's February when the majority of pets received as Christmas presents are returned.

"It's normally February time that they throw them out again", she added.
