Men charged following £100k Belfast and Newtownabbey drugs haul

Two men have been charged with a number of drugs offences after police seized more than £100,000 worth of drugs in Belfast and Newtownabbey.

A 55 year old man has been charged with conspiracy to supply class A & B drugs, possession of class A & B drugs and possession of class A and B drugs with intent to supply.

He's also been charged with a number of motoring offences including ‘taking and driving away’.

A 34 year old man was charged with possession of class B drugs, being concerned in the supply of class B drugs and conspiracy to supply class B drugs.

They are both expected to appear at Laganside magistrates court on Friday.

It follows a police operation in which £100,000 worth of drugs were seized in Belfast and Newtownabbey on Wednesday.
