Men rob Antrim home armed with knives and hammer

Two men robbed an Antrim home on Sunday after armed with kives and a hammer.

Detectives are appealing for information following the report of an aggravated burglary at the house in the area of Donegore Drive on Sunday June 10.

Detective Sergeant Adams said; “It was reported that at around 11:45pm on Sunday night, two men armed with knives and a hammer gained entry to the premises. The men threatened the female occupant, caused damage to the house and then made off with a mobile phone.

“I am appealing for anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area or who has any information about this incident to contact detectives at Antrim Station on 101 quoting 1701 10/06/18. Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
